Unexpectedly, the country is now polarized into two parts, one is supporting BDR and other is supporting Bangladesh Army. To be more appropriate, it can be said that they are blaming each other. It is also observed that our political leaders have started to blame opposition for the mutiny that took place inside BDR Headquarter. Still there is a belief in people’s mind that the mutiny was spontaneously done by the BDR jawans. Is it really the case? Was there no-body behind these less-educated people to do such a massive kill? Was it only for fulfillment of their demand? The answer is a big NO. There must exist some forces, which planned it and then executed it in very professional fashion within very short time using the rage of jawans against their officers.
Now, Bangladesh Army is the pride of country. It is showing its supremacy in every sector where it is brought into play in either home or abroad. We beg our hands to this force when we are in trouble knowing that they will pick us up from the worst. They are the most sophisticated part of our nation. To strike in the heart of such a force is not matter of joke. The incident of February 25 makes me to feel like December 14 of 1971, when they slaughtered the most intelligent sons of our nation.
In recent days, the people of Bangladesh is urging for the trial of war criminals. Decades have been passed away. These war criminals have washed many of our brains already to strengthen their base. In any condition, they haven’t done this for the welfare or the countrymen. Now, the appeal for the trial has got spotlight both by the people and the government. They are trying to threat, “DO NOT TRY TO TOUCH US, WE CAN DO ANYTHING”. They are making us to believe that they have their agents in every sector. The approach they took in every capturing is also similar to this very massacre. It is easy to motivate a comparatively weaker side, paramilitary rather military. And now we are watching their success.
Government must take proper initiatives to investigate in effective way thus no God-father can escape. The heart of these types of things should be uprooted. They must be taken under capital sentence; not only the doll like BDR people. Hundreds of souls of Army officers are waiting for that. Otherwise in one fine morning we all will find ourselves in a country like Afghanistan. Are we prepared for this?
